Which girl has ever complained about owning too much makeup ? You might already have a smile on your face - None ever said so. The only Dilemma one faces is what product/company should one stick by, since the options are endless.Im going to add one more to your List - Essence Cosmetics. Yes, I did add to your woes , however I would totally recommend them both to you.Read on ..

Essence Cosmetics is the baby of Catrice Cosmetics and go easy on the wallet too. The Team at Essence sent me an Eye Pencil in midnight blue along with an eye shadow - 09 , Irresistible midnight date.Needless to say I was excited to try and get to know this European brand better.

Essence Gel Eye Pencil

I received Essence Eye pencil in one of my favourite colors - midnight blue. The best Features which are mentioned and also tested is that its waterproof, smudge- proof, long lasting, easy to apply. The Eye liner comes in a twist applicator which makes it easier to reuse , eliminating the unnecessary hassles of poky edges.

The Blue is perfect for all Skin Types. Loved it on Indian/Tan/Brown/Dusky skin. It makes your eye pop. Its perfect for both Day and night wear. Its subtle yet stands out.

So if you are a college goer, office person, you can generously use them on your eyes for that added element. It also goes in perfectly for an evening outing with friends or even a party.

This one is definitely a must have.

Essence 3D Eyeshadow

3D Essence Eyeshadow is a Shimmery one. It's number 9, Irresistible midnight date ,with two colors - a gorgeous blue in shimmer and a steel white in shimmer again. Oh Yes!, who doesn't love their eyes to have an added shine , especially if its an evening do.

I loved both the shades, but the only discomfort for me (YES,im a little insane) , was the fact that both the shades sit together , and when you use blue it will have a tendency to glide off to white section in the box, I really like little compartments, so that the colors stay in their boxes. Im a lttle finicky about colors getting mixed up.

See what I meant!!

Apart from that, they are Fabulous. Not much of a day wear I would say,(at least not for me) strictly an evening wear.

Love the shimmer, as it adds oomph and glamour. The colors blend in easily with all skin types, and are sure to make your evening more special.

Shine on Ladies :)

I received a
call from BlogAdda asking if I wanted to test drive the Landrover, I did not
give it a second thought and said YES. However, when I shared this news at
Home, my dad was super excited and was raving about the features of the
vehicle. Well who better than him to drive the vehicle, I thought
to myself. And luckily BlogAdda and Land Rover were kind enough to
accommodate the same.

We set out on
to Rifle Club at moolamattom, based in Kerala, for the Land Rover
experience.

Was it worth
the time and energy!! HELL YEA!!

What a FIRST
time off-roading experience and in a Land Rover. (Does a quick dance)

After initial
Registration Process, we sat down eagerly awaiting our turn. A video of the
previous Land rover experience was being aired, which excited me further.
It showed the vehicle's capacity to smoothly drive through different terrains.

We had a briefing session about the vehicle. The terrain response
system was designed to tackle the toughest terrains. It had 4 modes for
different terrains- a normal mode, a mode for driving in water, a mode for
driving on a path laden with rocks and on uneven surfaces and a mode for
driving on sand. The Hill Descent Control intelligently controls the wheels
and applies brakes to the wheels individually and slows the vehicle while
driving on a steep path, downhill.

The session concluded with do's and don'ts, and we were
assigned a Land Rover with an instructor. Our Instructor was an amazing
and entertaining person, not only did he encourage my dad through the
terrain , but also he was very informative and patient.

conditions and tackle the toughest terrains. It had 4 modes for different

Soon after the briefing session, we were assigned a Land Rover
with an instructor. Though my dad had driven an automatic before, he was
still a bit apprehensive of handling the vehicle. Gurkhirat (our instructor)
effortlessly calmed him down, and also offered to take over, incase my dad
wasn't confident.

We started off with Gurkirat taking us to the designed terrain. We
(Dad) started driving smoothly, with occasional reminders from Gurkhirat
- "No left foot, no clutch". His kept assuring my dad how
well he was driving making more more
confident and he was easing in and out of terrains like a Pro.

The drive was pretty smooth and I thoroughly enjoyed the descents
and the uphill climbs. Towards the end was a difficult terrain, it was a deep
turn and the vehicle tilted dangerously to one side. However, with
instructions, Dad managed to drive well through that too.

It was an
ahmazing first time off-roading experience for me. And I was supercharged and
excited. The Vehicle's endurance and technology used was Fantastic. It seemed
to move effortlessly through the terrain.

We did stop to
see another vehicle coming uphill, the sound the vehicle made was like a
Roaring beast , Fully charged and raring to go.

It was a Fun
filled Sunday. I hope the video does do justice to what I experienced

For Fanus, Cyrus was not just his best friend, he was a very
special friend. They knew each other from a very young age. They bonded the
very first day they had met as kids. It was a beautiful camaraderie. Growing
up, they shared similar interests in literature, sports, movies and sexual
orientation. They both realized they
were homosexual. Cyrus knew that he was gay at a young age. He knew his
parents, friends, society were not going to take it well. So he mostly kept it
to himself. He tried to act normal around
Fanus too. However no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t. He was attracted
to his best friend. He knew Fanus might freak out and hence hid his emotions,
or rather attempted to hide them.

It was at one of their sleepovers, that Fanus realized he was
attracted to Cyrus as well. They both felt the tingles as they kissed. Their
eager mouths devoured each other. The moon smiled upon their love and bathed
their bodies in moonlight as they rose and fell like waves in passion. They
both knew that words were unnecessary. From then on, they turned even more
inseparable.

Fanus was frustrated and indignant at the way Boman had
reacted to the entire news. How could he
stop looking for his only son?, he thought aloud. He paced around in his
room, every corner reminding him of Cyrus even more. He slumped on his bed and
tried to clear his mind. He had to think of a way to get to Cyrus. The cops
would definitely not help now. He kept thinking of every possible way , he just
had to figure out something. His helplessness made him angry. He turned on his
sides, and pulled his knees closer to his chest.

“Where are you , my love” , he
whimpered.

He couldn’t help himself, he cried his heart out.

“Sush fanny , I never
want you to cry alright, remember what Dr. Sneha told me, ‘Never be ashamed of
your tears, but embrace them and let the wounds heal’ , so stop crying now” .
Fanus opened his eyes, and looked around for Cyrus’ voice. But he wasn’t there.
However, he knew what he had to do. He got up, embracing the wounds. He knew who
would help him. A smile spread across his face as he ran out of his house to meet
Dr. Sneha.

Since then Cyrus has been a very loyal patient. He developed a very strong bond with Dr. Sneha.
Though counter transference was considered ethically inappropriate for her profession, she pursued it, as she knew that her friendship with Cyrus helped him immensely.
She was more than a doctor to him, she was a friend , a confidante and a mentor.
She was aware of Fanus and Cyrus’s relation as well. For Cyrus, she was the
first person apart from Fanus, who saw him and accepted him for who he was.

in expression. She closed her eyes for a

Boman opened the door and stared at them in disbelief when Sneha
explained the reason she was there. Fanus thought Boman wouldn't budge, but
after a while, he moved letting them enter.
not just restrict themselves to moot courts and debates. They had everything an
individual wanted to stir his creative soul. There were clubs, societies,

The prologue starts off with a mention of Bomb attacks, and
I feel, I'm in for a great read. The first chapter starts of with a murder, and
not just ‘a murder’ , it’s one which
chills you. The victim is left with props (Yay, good start huh?). Enter –
Private India – who are brought in to
investigate the murder, as the murder is committed in a Hotel, that is their
client. Enter – Santosh Wagle, worn out, leans on alcohol to forget a past, but
a clever, almost Sherlocky Investigator.

The entire plot revolves around fine, till we have confused

character comes under the suspect category , in relation to the murder. Did we
really need that?, that was really uncalled for. And especially the end to

books and come over for this. Will I recommend this?? I'm in two minds honestly.
If you are reading his work for the first time don’t judge him by this book.
Well it’s a joint collaboration , isn't it?? So I guess , it wont hurt .

Tara felt as though she was hallucinating. She saw her, she
saw her daughter! She had imagined the worst to happen, and here she was
standing in front of her, in her uniform slightly creased. Her hair neatly
parted in a ponytail, with a few strays, that was tucked neatly behind her ear.
That beautiful smile, which lit up the otherwise dim warehouse, called out to
Tara. Was it really Roohi, or was her mind
playing tricks .If it was a trick, it was a wonderful one. Tears trickled down
her otherwise blank face. She told her mind to move her legs and walk over to
Roohi, but they somehow, stood rooted on the very spot, staring at her beloved
daughter.

She felt a gust of wind as Shekhar ran past Tara, and
scooped Roohi in his arms.

“Roohi, roohi, oh my God, Roohi”. He hugged her “Are you
alright?”

The illusion broke. Tara bellowed and her legs gave away.
She fell onto the floor, crying in relief. She could make a faint outline of
silhouettes in front of her. Her eyes misted with relief. All Tara could hear were faint mumblings.

She felt a familiar touch on her shoulder. She angled her
face to her shoulder. Shekhar tightened his grip on her shoulder reassuring
her, that it’s all ok.

“Mummy”, Roohi
whispered. Tara gathered herself and
pulled Roohi close to her, hugging her tight and kissing her all over her face.

“My Baby, I’m so sorry….” She howled. “If anything….”
She did not finish her sentence; Shekhar hugged them both and pulled them to a
warm embrace, for the first time. When the feeling of loss overshadowed them,
they found each other. Life was definitely ironic. Today they had become a family,
an actual family. His warm embrace enabled them to be lost in their own world
of happiness and solace.

Their Friends comforted each other, and heaved a uniform
sigh. They all smiled at each other, happy that they found her. Some engaged in
informing others via texts and calls, while others gave away to exhaustion and
sat on the floor.

“We found her”, Shekhar’s friend piped into the phone smiling.
The question from the other end, wiped away his smile. He looked towards the
trio in embrace. “We don’t know”, he said running his fingers through his hair
“hmmmm, yea… alright. I’ll hmmm…let me call you back... Ya, bye”. He hung up
and looked at Shekhar, not knowing how to ask. He rested his hands on his hips.

“Shekhar” his friend
called out, “She is alright, right?” his friend asked hesitantly.

Shekhar released Tara and Roohi from his embrace, mindful of
what exactly his friend meant. He held Tara around her waist and cupped Roohi’s
face, “Did the stranger touch you badly?” He asked. Though he seemed calm on
the exterior, his voice gave away the pain and fear of what he might hear.

Tara looked anxiously at Roohi, and then at Shekhar, and
exhaled deeply. Their friends stood behind them, looking down at the family
waiting to support them, if they needed it.

“Papa, which Stranger?” she asked innocently. Her eyes were
wide and questioning. Shekhar looked at her and looked away, palming the sweat
of his forehead. He was unsure as to how he was to proceed. How could he ask
her if she was, if the stranger had … The very thought chilled his spine. He
gritted his teeth, imagining the worst. Silence fell like a dagger in the
warehouse. He looked at Tara and he knew he just had to put them out of misery.
He cleared he throat and toyed with the sides of his spectacle.

“Roohi” he exhaled, “after
you left from school, you went out to eat ice- cream with a stranger, right?,
Did he do anything to you dear?” he asked , hoping against all odds, that she
was alright, that nothing untoward had happened to their daughter. His thoughts
raced from guilt to anger.

“Papa”, she chirped, shaking her head, “No Papa, Cyrus is
not a stranger”, she emphasized on stranger. She looked at Tara, and everyone
around, and smiled “Cyrus is my friend”. She smiled exuberantly

“Cyrus!!” Tara mumbled looking helplessly at Shekhar.

She ran her hand through the strays behind Roohi’s ear, “Who...
Who is Cyrus, baby? What were you doing with him?” She quizzed ”Haven’t we told
you to stay away from people whom you don’t know, You were supposed to wait for
either me or Papa, weren’t you dear” , She whimpered, anger mixed with hope and
love.

“Mummy, but I know Cyrus. Infact I was helping him”, Roohi
puffed her chest with pride, and looked around at her audience hoping to be
applauded. She pouted and dropped her shoulder, when she realized that no one
was going to appreciate her.

Tara asked her. “How did you reach here?”

“Well after school”, she crinkled her forehead, recollecting
“After school, I walked with Cyrus. We went out and had Orange Juice , from
that place mummy, where we had gone once to drink juice” … “mmmhmmm, then” Tara
asked “ Ya , then we were walking again, Cyrus was talking about Delhi, Papa, I
want to go to Delhi ok”, she pouted at Shekhar, unaware of the seriousness of
the situation.

ice-cream after that, and then we went on the merry-go round too, Cyrus was

“Then we got into the bus, and came to a place, I don’t know
where” she added candidly. One could hear everyone’s heart beating away wildly
“Even Cyrus did not know where. Oh oh, we bought chips and soda too. Then we
both were tired too, so we came here”

Challenges are doing the rounds everywhere , from ICE to RICE. Everyone is so excited about doing them!! Good!, but why exactly are YOU doing them. Is it really to help the needy? or just for another picture on your Social media, or a branding for your Product/organization?, or a very pathetic attempt to "Tag" your friends and see them enjoy as well?

Yes, I do agree, that the "Ice Bucket Challenge" has generated knowledge with regard to ALS, which like many, debate is only because of the Ice bucket challenge. Im sorry - Doesn't that sound Lame to you. The reason you claim that people are aware of an Illness is because of a challenge!. What is the world coming to ? Seriously!!.

People now need to be "Tagged/challenged" to be "Inspired" . How pathetic have we become??.

And now move over, we have another challenge, the Rice bucket. Initially I was all Happy about it. But again, there is a Tag/pictures. Why do we need to tell the world of what we are doing? especially helping someone in need. Would you like to be clicked in a similar manner?. They are doing it because they have have no option .They "pose" to get that supply, What the FUCk are YOU doing it for??For people commenting and saying Bravo??

For people who need to be tagged to be inspired, let me tell you, it lasts only till the picture is clicked. What after that? Do you bother about that Family?? Do you help them avail of more supplies, or do you just sit back in front of your Laptop and forget about it??.

You know there are millions of people who help the needy without being Tagged , or without posing fro pictures with them. Its not that they don't want to "inspire" people with their pictures, Its just that they know that it's not needed. For them its more of genuine help.

Today we are so bound by Social media and the image that we project that we forget to realise that we are Human too. We are able to do something for the less fortunate , because we have been blessed with a little more than them.

All those who get inspiration with senseless Tags, and those who are using it well to promote your organization and etc, YOU really need a Rain check with yourself.

Yes , this is an angry Post, However its more of a wake up call.

All of our Holy scriptures have beautifully mentioned, that when we help the needy - do not let the left hand know what the right hand is doing. For the world obsessed with Social media " Do not let the Social media know what you have done" .

So let me end up with another Challenge for you all. When you do some good, just TAG two people , YOU and the person receiving it,and if possible TAG them with a Smile , TAG them in their Hearts

Online shopping is something I dread. I'm still that old school, who loves to try on before buying, be it anything from clothing, shoes, accessories , make-up etc. However, I have loved the experience with Jabong, though there was a major goof-up, All's well that ends well right??.

Jabong appeared a lot over conversations, social media etc. And I thought, why not give it a shot, but with something small.

So I ordered a Lippy and two nail paints. I have recently fallen in love with lipsticks and have been in debt to the transformation they render . From ever so glamorous to dewy look, they are simply the bestestest.

I ordered the products via Jabong.com. They have a variety of products to offer at very good prices. Now I prefer being the slow and steady types and hence just ordered ordered 3 items. All of them maybelline - Lipstick in shade Plum, and nail paints in tangerine orange and Downtown red.

I received the products on the second day of placing the order, usually its 24 hours, but I did have a few cancellations to my first order, hence the delay. my order came in with a fragile tag, and a mention to check the contents before accepting the package, which I found very unique. However they had a mixup of lipstick shades and sent across Fuschia instead of Plum (Yea thats a huge difference).

Now what i loved about them , apart from their products and pricing., is their Customer care. They are ahmazing!!, and my anger towards them, for having delivered the wrong product disappeared. Oh and I might as well add, that they sent in their personnel to change the product. Personally it was the best experience I ever had with a company, in terms of their promptness as far as resolving issues are concerned. They also rechecked with me, which made me feel really good.

I loved the fact that they prioritize customers, and deal with them individually, and provide them resolutions accordingly.

I'm sure you are bound to find similar products on many online platforms. And also the mode of payments , im sure all of you are familiar with it So I wouldn't rate their products here as I still have to go through all of them. However, in terms of their Service, i.e, Shipping - with so much attention to fragile objects and with care, and also their Customer Service, I'm in love with them. hence had to write about them.

When they say they have 24/7 Customer Care - they really mean it!! . Apart from loads of offers on jabong , for first timers on their site , you receive a 1500/- voucher, which is really good.

As far as the lipstick is concerned, my sister loved the shade, so I did not exchange it.

I would give jabong a 9/10 - and all of it only for their Shipping and excellent Customer Service.

Indiblogger presented an opportunity to review Tresemme Split remedy Shampoo and Conditioner . And needless to say I said a BIGGG YESS. And I have never done a video for any of my product reviews, not that they were not good enough, but they didn't excite me as much as this product.
So find my review about the product HERE.
Sita’s
curse is about MEERA PATEL, the story is of a woman who is fearless to explore
her sexuality. The book starts of with
a masturbation scene(Yes, kindly embrace sexuality here).Sexual details are vividly described in every
second page. The author starts off with describing her parts with
aplomb
and later sticks on to “HER SEX” (err vagina isn’t a bad word!!) .Sexual content in the book did not bother me, what bothered me more was the fact that I
assumed it to be a story of a woman who embraces her sexuality, rather than one
who is super HORNY, she has sexual fantasies with her twin brother, with a
girl, and almost everyone.

The
book has been divided into two parts: the first part starts when Meera is
thirteen and the second when she turns thirty. The book starts off with her
childhood and her love and bonding she has towards her brother. However it
turns weird when her own brother starts lusting for her!!! (errr, whatttt!!!!).
She is discussing her breasts, changes in her body with her BROTHER (Some bond I tell you). She has
fantasies of her dance teacher (and mind you she hasn't attained puberty
here!!!). Oh and she does make out with her dance teacher, witnessed by her
brother. Surprisingly, she knew exactly what to do!!. Her brother gets troubled
as he wants her only to himself (Creepy). He Is sent off, and later dies. (one
down, how many more to go).

So in
an attempt to find someone who would make her feel; as karthik did, she makes
out with everyone (even a girl). She even makes out with a stranger who saves
her from the river (a complete stranger, mind you!!)From a dance teacher to a
guruji, her “sex chat lover” – meera is depicted to have a insatiable appetite
for SEX. To add to it she is married to a guy who can barely get his “organ”
up. He rapes her the first time they make out. But all is forgotten, and she
tries to crave his sexual attention every single time (Yawn). And not to forget
, she also leches at her brother in law, and unabashedly watches him making out
with his wife (errr, CREEP ALERT).

Im
surprised she doesn't make out with Bansi (her brother in law, I guess the
author let him be). The other main characters are a Guru and Yosuf(a guy she
meets online). She makes out with the guru and obviously with yosuf!!. The
Mumbai floods come in picture, where yosuf and her husband go missing. However
meera , the insatiable woman that she is, believes in masturbating the day her
husband goes missing. Also Chottu abruptly disappears as well.

My
expectations after reading the blurb were super high. It was a complete dud for
me. Has she done justice to the way the book is defined by many : “Bold, brazen and defiant, Sita's Curse looks at
the hypocrisy of Indian society and tells the compelling story of a
middle-class Indian housewife's urgent need for love, respect, acceptance and
sexual fulfillment." I wouldn’t agree.

Yes Sreemoyee, we women do crave
physical pleasure. We lust , we masturbate!! And there are bi-sexuals, and
lesbians. However meera here comes across as a nymphomaniac, who requires
medical HELP!!!

I chose my front door for the product review. The entire process took 2 and half days. The Door was first cleaned out and smoothed by using sand Paper, followed by Aquadur wood and dent filler to cover some holes and dents , then a coat of Aquadur wood preservative. Once dry, they used the first coat of Aquadur base coat and then the final Aquadur Pu Exterior matt coat.
Our house is 8 years old, and we did fail to notice that the front door had turned a little yellow. It was only after the initial wood polish was removed that we realized how beautiful our door used to be. With the final coat of Aquadur Pu, our minds were at ease as it retained the original color of the wood, and also the matt finish lend it the original look, which we all loved initially.
Over years since its Water Based, as compared to the initial Oil based polish, I'm sure we will be able to retain the look.

The result was truly Beautiful. I loved the transformation.

Usually whenever , there is a paint job/any work, it does leave behind traces in terms of smell. I totally dislike it. However with Aquadur PU, there was no such issues. It was Odorless, and it is also a safer option for the workers.

It also conforms to stringent European EN 71.3 standards , that is basically low metal toxicity , which makes it Child Safe.

In a time when we are looking for ways to contribute to the environment in little ways, this product provides a brilliant platform. Oil based Products emit Toxins during painting and after some years. Using Aquadur can considerably help towards ensuring our bit to the environment.
I fell in love with this quote back in school, and it truly symbolizes LIFE. I'm sure all of us have a "Places to visit list". Malaysia is on my top 20 list . Being a student of History, Malaysia has always fascinated me. From early influences of Hinduism and Buddhism to Islam, Malaysia has a variety of culture and tradition to offer its visitors. Tranquil beaches, cities dipped in history, rain forests, mountains - You name it - There is something for everyone.

My travel plans are a mix of the above catering to my varied interests.
Mount Kinabalu, is located in Sabah in East Malaysia. Apart from the lovely view, that one would get from the top. Mt.Kinabalu is a mountain of legends. The one that intrigues me a lot is its origin from the Kadazan words Aki Nabalu, which means "the revered place of the dead" . The Kadazan people believe that spirits dwell in the mountain . The Kadazan people belong to an indigenous tribe, who still live on Mt.Kinabalu's Flanks. This combined with the breathtaking view is on my top 10 places to visit in Malaysia.
Layang -layang is a man-made island in Sabah, Borneo. It was initially constructed for the Malaysian Navy, and was later developed as the dive only resort. The best thing about the island is its guarantee for Isolation. If you are love reading a book with the calming noise of the sea. this is a must go place.

Also, its one of the top 10 dive sites in the world, owing to its marine display. If there is a place, I would love to let go of my hydrophobia, it would be HERE.
Penang is located on the northwest coast by the strait of Malacca. Its a former British settlement , one of the four states to not have a Malay ruler or a Sultan . Penang's architecture speaks for itself, its an amalgamation of History and modern influences. The cultural mosaic of the city paints it with vibrant colors during festivals.

The history of this place already got my attention, and what added to it was the delicious array of street food that Penang has to offer. Owing to different cultures, its going to be a gastronomic treat.

For those who are already aware of The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, will know exactly why I refrain from stating or categorizing this as a "Book Review:. This isn't just a Book, its beyond, being just pages where you flip to know the end. Its a Pandora of Happiness.

I was made aware of this book several years ago by my Brother , who said 'give it a read, I cant seem to finish it'. I started reading, yawning, started getting a headache, yawned, and fell asleep. The Secret was kept away from me.

Years later, my friend, asks me to go through a Video, and how it has transformed her life. I was like "oh the secret huh, pfffff" . However, like they say, when you FEEL it, you better go ahead and do it without dwelling much on it. I watched the Video , twice. And I super loved it.

I loved it because of its simplicity. The fact that YOU and I can easily integrate it in our lives. most of us have already done so too. However, when we knowingly implement something towards a specific end result, its a different state of Happiness.

The Secret , helps in all areas of Life, Love, finance ,career, every thing. The Key is to believe. It talks about a simple law - the Law of Attraction. Have you ever felt,' why does this happen to me', Well, i have an answer, its because you have consciously or subconsciously attracted it to you. Yes i see the frown, and smirks. I know that, as i have been right where you are.

We expect the secret to be something huge, however its simple.

The basic of The Secret is Gratitude. How thankful are we, for all what we have?.Being Grateful, ups our positive field/vibration helping us in sync with the universe.

The Secret entails three basic steps - ASK. BELIEVE. RECEIVE . Before all this, thank , be thankful for what you have. This opens up a wider portal, and leads to positive vibrations.

Im Leaving the video/film HERE. I know this is helping you as much as it is helping me. I'm a better person, im happy . I'll leave to watch this ,and feel it yourself.

Do tell me what you felt :)
Book : Prisoner Jailer Prime Minister
Author : Tabrik C
Genre : Fiction
Price : 350/-

Before I talk about the Book, I definitely need to talk about the creative/ Book cover. It shows a lonely man walking towards Sunset, with a caption that reads "You Can't outrun Fate..." . The Book cover,by itself gives us a man chained in emotions (solely my interpretations - and i can definitely be wrong). Why am i talking about the cover?, Well after reading the Blurb - "India has a new Prime minister but is Siddhartha Tagore the product of his genius or of his dangerous mind" , gave me chills, enough to make me want to read this book, and the cover just added to it all. So kudos to the design ,Anuj Malhotra.

About the Author

You can definitely google all of it. Here is what I felt - He has combined his interests of being a political enthusiast, a perfumer to give birth to this book. He seems very interested in Politics and is adept at giving witty quotes as well. "Modi is as far from Vajpayee, as Heaven is from Earth" . I'm sure the politically inclined will definitely love him.

About the BOOK

The Book completely belongs to Siddhartha Tagore. He is a Politician, and a gifted musician. I love the musician in him more, as that's where the true Siddhartha emerges. Yes he is fictional, but I'm in total awe of his character.

The author is a firm believer in Karma, as you will know once you read the book, as certain events unfold. Despite Siddhartha's Charisma, despite the emotional connect that the author has skillfully managed to achieve. Somewhere, it was just too predictable, what began as a "hold your seats ride" becomes a "read at your own pace".

The Nuclear Blast that takes on early in the book, is spoken about at the end,and by then you would have tend to forget about it. There are loose ends, where certain episodes are left for the readers imagination. A murder happens, however, we are not told further about it, except the predictable murderer. It was a "High Profile" Investigation, and then its not spoken about.

The Author definitely loves Harley , as there is so much mention of it.

The Book is definitely a beautiful read, however do not have high expectations from it. Its beautiful in places and blaaah in others.

What i loved about the ease with which he shifts time frames. You don't get confused at all. A little bored , yes, but not confused.

I loved his style of switching Fonts with different formats of communication. He has used a lot of News reports, emails, letters, thought processes as communication, and effortlessly conveys the same without creating any confusion.

His characters apart from Siddhartha, Rubaya and her Parents, are a little loosely etched. Their emotional transitions happen faster than the blink of an eye.If only he had moulded them a little more.

For his first book, I would say its commendable.

If you have read so far, I'll say read the book , for Siddhartha Tagore, there are very few protagonists, who can actually make you feel the pain and loss of a loved one so well, and he does ,all thanks to Tabrik.

Thank you for Siddhartha Tagore.

He is a conflicted, disturbed individual, both charismatic and controlled by opposite sides of his erotic personality and genius. He is certainly not an opportunist but a man who rides a Tsunami of his own creation. A powerful idealist – a flawed hero! - Tabrik

I would Rate this Book a 6(only for Siddhartha) /10

Ufff , Ashwin Sanghi is my Favorite Indian Author. So prepare to read a very Biased review about his book. I was first introduced to Ashwin Sanghi's work via Chankya Chant, later the Krishna Key. Coming to think of it now, i should have read Rozabal Line first as its his first book ,which was initially published under a pseudo name.

What I love about this author , is the amount of research he puts in,in his each of his books. Its commendable. Yes, its Fiction, but eventually , we do get a glimpse of truth and then its left to your understanding.

Rozabal line talks about Christ and the speculations about his death, whether he actually died during crucifixion, and why was the "routine" knee breaking not done, or why wasn't the body left to decay as was the norm then. The plot weaves in and out of various times, from AD to present, without confusing the reader. It talks about secret societies that do exist, and their relation with the others. Past life regression is beautifully used here.

The Characters are all part of the same thread, which makes up a wonderful cloth. Its intriguing, gritty and fast paced. Not once, would you think, "what the hell am i reading" .

Rozabal Line, is just an awefabtatstic read.

Im not delving much into the storyline, as i really want you guys to READ this book. Tell me if you like it as much as I did.

my review : 8.5/10

"I saw her first across the Corridor, of this very place, we are standing right now", he cleared his throat. Clearly old age didn't look good on him.

----------------

We were assigned projects in the Geriatric ward, for a period of one month. Find your "Subject", they would tell us, and understand the various nuances to their personality. I found the word "subject" so bleh , how can u address someone that way. But well, you tend to learn, to call them subjects after a while.

In my first year of College, I was like a pup, lapping up attention. I knew i would go beyond myself to achieve , the required . There isn't much to know about me .I never knew a family, my family rather. I was raised by Catholic Sisters at an orphanage, so I assumed its good to kneel towards Catholic Faith. most people pride on being a part of their religious doctrine. I simply felt like a creeper , feeding onto the beliefs that were thrown towards me. Not that it mattered!.

I guess being unwanted at an early age, made me a person looking for opportunities, for attention.I excelled at studies , sports and other extra curricular activities, however , the attention I desired off, usually faded within days. It never stayed forever. I wondered what would stay forever, and how would forever feel .

So mote it be , so mote it be.

I was that freak in high school. I used to love solitude , or rather did not have much choice. I just found random conversations about "oh my God, he looked at me" , boring, and the follow ups, equally annoying. I was so done.

I loved reading, it was my stress buster. Nah.. not stress buster, it was like a release , a feeling that goes beyond reasoning ,or my understanding.

It was there that I was first introduced to the best part of my life.

So mote it be so mote it be.

-----------

I Finally zeroed in on a "Subject" , an octogenarian or so he seemed. i really didn't bother knowing him , till one day, he just made me know him better.

An hour before leaving, he stopped his continuous muttering and stared at me deep and hard. His eyes screamed 'creep alert' , I could feel the tingling sensation on my nape. He gave me the chills, and then he smiled. I gathered my things and ran for my life.

Two days later. It was as though nothing ever happened. He was the same person, I had first met. No conversation, no eye contact. Just the weird humming sound. However this time. It had an effect on me. The room vibrated, it was like as though he was chanting. it was a Rhythm.

"So how far have the books helped", he asked me out of the blue.

"ummm which book are we talking about?" . I could feel the walls closing in on me.

He started humming faster. The wind blew against the window, and forced it shut.

"The book of Occult, my dear", he smiled at me.

"I .. i dont know what.. how do you know" , i couldn't stop babbling. How did he know. He also seemed perfectly sane to be held hostage in an asylum.

And then it began, an unusual camaraderie developed between student and pupil. He being my master.

-------

Our friendship grew stronger, and I started visiting him everyday. He taught me all he knew about the Black Art. he would say that it is an ART. A very beautiful one at that.I felt this was way better than reading.

--------

Time just flew by. It was my final year. This was when it all changed. That day it all just changed.

The bloody rains, I cursed internally. I was running towards college. Late, annoyed and dripping wet. That day was so unlucky, started off , by getting up late, missing my bus, then the train, my cab, forgetting my umbrella!!! ughhhh. It couldn't have been worse.

I was running towards the gate, and so was he. We both, i guess were looking down to avoid the rain, hitting our face. I did not see him coming, and we bumped face on into each other. I lost my balance, tried to steady myself, by hanging on to him, but instead pulled him on myself. I registered a fall. Luckily he placed his palm under my head. I felt his weight. But it just felt like 'good weight' . I donno if it made sense. But nothing did, after that. He lifted himself off me, and like a gentleman, picked me up as well. He was chivalrous enough to ask if i was hurt. I don't remember what I said. I tried straightening up myself, trying to look better. But was so distracted by his smile. Good Lord!!, so this was what is felt like.

I did not even realise when he left, but i'm sure I felt stupid.

------------

I met my subject again after a gap of 3 weeks. " So tell me about him", was all he said when I walked to his room.

I rattled off , about how he ignored me. That maybe I was not all that pretty looking for him. I cried. I don't remember when I cried last. I rattled off, how all my attempts to connect went vain. And all I wanted was to have Him forever.

"Forever", he laughed "it can be an eternity my dear, forever might just be too much".

"No, i want him forever, all mine and just mine"

I did not realize my folly then, all i wanted was Him. All to myself.

So mote it be So mote it be

------

"I saw her first across the Corridor, of this very place, we are standing right now", he cleared his throat. Clearly old age didn't look good on him.

I walked away and he started mumbling something, I really did not bother. I wish i had.

'I saw her first across the Corridor, of this very place, we are standing right now. This place used to be a General Hospital earlier'. he continued oblivious that he did not have a listener.'She stormed past me, and rushed towards the elevator. I was just amazed at how lovely she smelled. She smelled liked fresh dew. Her lithe frame was beautifully caressed in a white saree. Her Hair was all tied up. Some strands resisted and danced across her bare back. She was a nurse there, tending to people, with a beautiful Smile. I was in love with her. I knew I wanted her forever. However, she was engaged to her best friend. Not something I appreciated. I proposed and proposed and proposed. Tried all means possible, and then gave up. Gave up to Black Art.I just loved her a lot. Forever, wasn't enough. She said she would rather die than be with me. I loved her too much to not give in to her wishes. I killed her. I used her blood to keep her with me forever. Black magic is an Art. I have to keep chanting, else I know what she is capable of. People said i'm mad. I was alright ,as long as it gave me the space and solitude to be with her', he smiled looking at her.

Then I saw this young bored girl. She chose me to study. I saw a lot of me in her. Alone, orphan. I knew she would do exactly as i said. I needed more blood , to keep myself strong, to live forever with my woman.

The love affair, she told me, gave me the perfect chance . For both of us. For her to unite with her love, for me to be with mine. I needed two souls, a willing and unwilling. She was willing for forever. It was simple and easy.

She believed that "forever" exists.

I read about her in the news the next day. Poor girl. Killed the boy,and then herself. The media spoke about Love failures and rejection for a week or so. Anyways, I still have Forever.

So mote it be So mote it be

Nadia just couldn't stop beaming. She looked at her mehendi laden hands. Her life was just beautiful. A silent tear escaped, a long sigh later , she looked at herself in the mirror. She was Happy.

-----

If someone had told her she would meet someone like Harish, she would have just laughed it off! No ways, guys like Harish just existed in Romantic Films and Books. Not in real Life, never.

He had just saved a puppy, must have been barely months old, from being squished under fast moving vehicles. 'Weekdays aren't going to be kind to you , just because you are a cute little adorable puppy with those big, melt my heart away eyes' he chided the puppy, cradling it in his arms. He left it safely near the footpath and stared at it long and hard. The puppy sat down and stared right back. He laughed and scooped up the puppy, and walked away.

Nadia was watching all of this from a distance. She smiled to herself, and kept smiling the whole day recounting the episode.

The next day she saw him again. Almost sprinting, and shouting away instructions on his phone.

Later in the evening, Nadia bound by her routine, headed towards the Parking lot, ear plugs firmly placed, humming away a tune. She barely had any sensation whatsoever of a person following her.

It all just happened very quickly, Nadia barely registered what happened. It took her half an hour to regain herself. her Lips quivered, her breathing heavy. She looked to her left, and saw Harish. He was talking to the cops. She hugged herself, and closed her eyes shut.

She recollected his strong arms around her waist , lifting her up. He tried to cover her mouth, but she screamed as loud as she could, trying to push away her attacker. She was too weak. But someone else was there too. He hit her attacker, she fell on teh floor, hitting her head.

'Hey' , she felt an arm on her shoulder. She shuddered and opened her eyes, to see Harish sitting besides her. Overwhelmed , she hugged him and cried. She did not know for how long. But she felt him shifting from kneeling on the floor to sitting next to her, cradling her in his arms. he did not say a word, but instead sat next to her, and held her.

She heard him giving away his number to the cops, saying he would call them and will get her when she is better.

After what seemed like hours, she let go and straightened up. She cupped her face with her palms. She breathed deeply and looked towards him. 'Thank you', she muttered. He just smiled back.

She trembled while getting up. She knew she couldnt sit there all night. He helped her, and quickly let go.
'Can you drive home? , i could drop you home' , he offered. She just nodded her head.

He made her sit , and jogged towards the drivers seat. He steered the vehicle out of the lot, and waited for her to tell him . She sat there all curled up, lost in the distance. He cleared his throat to get her attention. but she just looked out.

He decided to take her home.

It was around 2am, when he heard muffled screams followed by prolonged howling. She had a nightmare. That incident definitely changed her. It made her weak, it brought out her vulnerability.

8 months later.

Nadia was doing better. She kept in touch with Harish. They met often . Harish was in a relation and always found solace in Nadia when it came to sorting out his problems.

2 years later.

It was a year after he Harish broke up with his girl. He was completely over her. He wanted to start afresh. Nadia had moved on to another city, however their friendship blossomed . Harish had planned to surprise Nadia, by turning up in her city unannounced . Surprise would have been an understatement. Nadia was overwhelmed and ran into his arms .

They spent a week together, catching up, shopping , clubbing and enjoying everything that the city could offer them.

Nadia still remembered that day. How could she not. It was a day before he was to leave. It was raining. They had just returned home after shopping, and were dripping wet. They laughed over some incident and ran home.

Nadia went to her room and came back with a towel, to wipe his hair dry. He sat down and asked her to wipe it dry, laughing away at a previous incident. She sat down in front of him, and started drying his hair with a towel. His laughter ceased , he caught her wrists and lowered her hands, looking at her face. She gave an awkward smile, and tried to get up. He pulled her back towards him. Her hair covered his face. Their breath was in sync with each other. He loved the way she smelled.

'Hari , we ... we shouldnt ..' , she hesitated.

'sssshh' , he silenced her , and kissed her . There was no stopping them both. Passion overtook their senses, and they were two wild animals clamoring for attention, exploring and satisfying each other.

They lay in each others arms.

'Why did I wait so long, Nadz' , he whispered . ' I have been in love with you for so long'

She looked up and kissed him ' I thought you would never feel this way for me'. A silent tear escaped. he kissed her, and their bodies responded to the rhythmic music their hearts made.

Harish went back the next day. They stayed in touch via calls, texts, whichever was feasible. Each others routine was etched firmly in their minds. They couldnt stay a minute without texting or talking . They had become a necessity for each other.

It was 6 months later into their relation. It was time to take it further, she told him. 'I need more time Nadz, im not settled' She understood. 'Sure'

Two years later - He still wasn't settled. Fights became more prominent. He just wanted 'Space' . He wanted time to settle down.

"The biggest Coward of a man is to awaken the Love of a woman, without the intention of Loving her".

Nadia just couldn't stop beaming. She looked at her mehendi laden hands. Her life was just beautiful. A silent tear escaped, a long sigh later , she looked at herself in the mirror. She was Happy.

She met Nitin at a friends wedding, and he couldn't wait to be married to her. He proposed . She wanted time. He waited . She finally fell for his Love towards her.

Have I turned to Beauty product reviews??? No No No (Just a little breather till my mind starts making up twisted stories) . Now why I choose to review this Product? It wasn't a part of a review program or anything. I just had to review it, because, Ladies, this one is absonfreakinlutely worth being reviewd.

So my sister gave me an Olay CC Cream. Now first Impressions, it looked like chocolate :p . You will know why, once you see it. Now most Olay products have the typical packaging, in sense that its all chic. this one is no less. Apart from the fact that it looks like creamy Chocolate.

The application is so simple, a pump and you get enough and more for your entire face. Just saying that a drop is enough, so you can actually count how lonngggg its gonna last. (Voop Voop) .

So my initial reactions was(yep after all that) , oh no, its a light to medium one that my sister picked for me, and that i may need the medium to dark one (hmmmmppp) . However, this one pretty much works for me (yayyy). And also unlike BB creams, you can select according to your skin tone.

Also this one comes in with Spf 15 and Moisturizer . As a Complexion corrector, it does work wonders.

Now, for the hot and humid places like mine, adding to combination skin type. I apply Olay CC, and finish it off with my Compact powder, and it looks wonderful!!! (I super Love it)

It also works as a concealer/ Highlight. Once you are done with your base, you could use Olay CC, on problem areas like under the eye, around your mouth, or just highlight your forehead, cheeks, bridge of your nose, jaws.Finish of with compact, you will definitely notice the difference. And yes it is fabulous.

Its just a wonderful Product, and I super love it. I hope you would try this once and let me know of your review too. CC is the new BB.

The new year has finally come , and the new day begins to end too. People often ask me what have you accomplished in the past 365 days, we call a year. Often at the end of every year , most individuals, have this thought running marathons in their head. "what have i accomplished" ?

I love to see things my way!! And in my way, what have I still got, what have I not lost, did i try, did I let go too soon, all of those hold more value than material accomplishments. Yes , I'm proud of them, but 'm more proud of various aspects that define me as an individual.

Have i tried holding on to people i love/like ? Yes , I have, today if you are not a part of my life, its not because of me, its solely your responsibility. Have i tried every possible thing ?? Yes!, So no regrets, and no excess Baggage. the tears have dried, so now it doesnt matter as much as it used to.

Have I tried my best?? Towards work, personal life, friends .. well to an extent YES. Do i regret anything done or said , of course yes, but have i tried rectifying them... Hell yea.

To a lot of you, this may seem a little over the top, a lot incomplete, but the way i see it, its Just another Blank page left in my diary ( Lazy me hates to write )...

To new beginnings, to new people, to new stories ....

According to the UN, “six of the world’s seven billion people have mobile phones – but only 4.5 billion have a toilet”. Crazy, right? So it only follows that when whittling down our ever-increasing budget, cell phone bill is one area we must pay close attention to. Clearly, whoever said "talk is cheap" must not own a cell phone. These days, cell phone costs can go as high as $1000. As we are all looking for ways to save money, I hope the following tips on how to save money on your phone bill help.

Do away with the extra features and services. Information calls, roadside assistance plans, horoscope texts, call waiting, toll-free calls, cell phone insurance, and ringtone downloads may not seem very expensive on its own but will sure inflate your cost when added together. Keep only the features you use on a regular basis.

Most cell phone plans feature free calls within the same network. You can significantly lower the cost of your monthly minutes if your friends and family use the same network provider as you. Furthermore, you may receive additional discounts if you get your family into one plan.

Bundle your phone, cable and internet services into one plan. It's often cheaper this way than paying for each service separately.

Track your time and usage. How many minutes do you use? How many texts do you typically send? Do you use your phone to check your emails, search the web, or login to Facebook? Knowing these information will help you customize your plan according to your specific needs. For example, choosing an unlimited text plan will benefit those who text a lot just as much as getting the local-only plan will benefit those who only make local calls.

Be aware of discounts. There are all sorts of discounts you may qualify for - employee, student, senior. A little research will sure save you money.

Save whenever you can. Use free wi-fi. Make free calls using Skype or Viber. If you're at home, use your landline phone. Get a plan that will let you roll over unused minutes.

Call your cell phone company. It wouldn't hurt to ask for a better deal.

Lastly, if you're a light user, you can save money with a prepaid plan. No credit check, no 2-year contract, no hidden charges and added expenses, just the basic and straightforward pay as-you-go package.

If you’re in the market for a new phone, compare plans and find one that best fits your needs and budget at No-contract-plans.com (http://www.no-contract-plans.com).
